Attacks by Somali pirates near the Horn of Africa are increasing in frequency. Incidents of piracy have also occurred in Seychelles’ territorial waters. We strongly advise Australians to maintain a high level of vigilance and to exercise extreme caution when travelling in, or in the vicinity of, these waters.
